| The idea is to make use of it in a cloud material, which I havn't made yet. The A1 curve determines where there are hube globs of clouds or cloudless areas, in a rather sharp manner (towering cumulus clouds stuff) The A2 curve sets the variation of cloud density along the egde. So, you should get areas of full overcast and little variation, with egdes that contain smaller areas (clouds). By feeding in results, and setting up a gui, I realized that it might have lots of other uses.|

This material with a complete gui works extremely good for adding smooth coats onto rough surfaces. I.e. you can cover up a heavily bumpmapped object in smooth glass. It supports diffuse, specular, and fresnel
reflections - all of which is smooth (which can be varied naturally).
Diffuse shading suffers from some (I still call) severe pipeline
limitations when dealing with diffuse only lights, but most of the time
you can toggle the diffuse component off.

This is a RealSoft3D v4.5 shader. It uses the new "Surface Finishing" shader to perform illumination transformation on a per-object basis. You can therefore create a scene and include this material on only some of the objects, producing cartoons in a normal photo-realistic setting, or have it as a global material and render the whole scene cartooned.
There is a single curve to control output. By default it is a boolean with a low and high value for binary cartoon shading. It can of course be changed to any type of curve and values, allowing inverted illumination, gamma correction, and a host of effects (many of which are probably pointless :)
In areas where there is no illumination (black shadows) the cartoon shader will produce black results. This is because of a division by zero. The solution is a tiny ambient light (0.0001) which still renders black but which provides enough numerical information for usable data in the shadows.

Updated version of Arjo's tile shader with cracks. Small summary:
- the crack pattern is discontinued from stone to stone
- the GUI now contains crack scale and depth control
- there was an error in the tile borders' bump height; better now. Made the
edges irregular with noise.
- te bump height is also dependant on stoneid using a curve, so that crack
depth varies from tile to tile.

PhotoGrey Plugin for Realsoft3D
|A Fantastic colour adjustment Post-effect by David Coombes. Kindly donated to the RS community for FREE! It works just like the Photoshop version. It might actually prove quite useful/effective for image colour balancing without having to mess around with light-source values.|
It needs Renderman to run, using two scripts which convert RGB to HSL and back again, in contrast to the previous RGB/HSV conversion scripts. Full docs on the website: LittleInkPot
